About

David De Koekkoek works across the boundary where tax planning becomes financial administration.

David De Koekkoek is a CFP® Professional and an Enrolled Agent with more than three decades of experience helping individuals, families, and trustees manage the financial responsibilities that continue through retirement.

Based in Chino, California, he leads Tax & Retirement Services, a practice built around the practical work of tax preparation, retirement-related tax planning, trust and estate tax returns, personal bookkeeping, and the recurring financial administration that many clients need help with after their working years.

David holds both the CFP® certification and the Enrolled Agent credential. The CFP® designation reflects comprehensive education in financial planning, including retirement, estate, tax, and investment planning principles. The Enrolled Agent credential is a federal license to represent taxpayers before the IRS, earned through examination and continuing education focused specifically on tax law and practice.

His work is organized around a simple idea: retirement often reduces the paycheck without reducing the paperwork. Many clients find that tax filings, estimated taxes, account reconciliation, bill payment, and trustee reporting become more complex, not less, once they stop working. David helps clients build a system for managing those responsibilities with clarity, discretion, and appropriate authorization.

David serves retirees, families, adult children helping parents, surviving spouses, trustees, and powers of attorney in Chino and surrounding communities. He is committed to plain-language communication, organized records, and a clear division of responsibilities between clients, family members, and other professionals.
